Just a little message to remind you that school starts on Monday 30th January. I guess the time has come for us to say good bye. It has been a fantastic year, full of laughter and beautiful memories. Thank you for your efforts, I have seen you become great readers, writers and mathematicians! You have improved in all areas and I have had the joy of seeing it happen. I wish you all the best in Year 2.
“You have brains in your head.
You have feet in your shoes.
You can steer yourself in any direction you choose.
You’re on your own.
And you know what you know.
You are the guy who’ll decide where to go”
Dr Seuss
A little message to remind you about a few things that will be happening in the last couple of weeks:
Friday 9th will be Mufty Day.
Class Party: We’ll have our class party on Friday 9th December. Bring something to share with the class, for example chips, biscuits, cakes or drinks. Just make sure the food you bring has no nuts.
School Disco: The school disco will be held on Friday 9th December. It will be during school hours so you do not need to come back in the afternoon. There will be drinks, iceblocks, jelly and popcorn for sale. You can also get your hair sprayed and if it’s not raining we will have a jumping castle (50c a ride)
Holiday: School finishes on Friday 16th December. This will be last day for students and the beginning of their Summer holidays!
I would like to congratulate you all for a great day! Our Presentation Day Assembly was fantastic and the item was very impressive. You all worked so hard through rehearsals and it really paid off.
I would also like to congratulate our award winners:

I wish I could have given an award to every single one of you. You have all shown great improvements throughout the year and have achieved so much. You should all feel very proud of yourselves and continue to work to the best of your abilities.

Presentation day is on Monday 28th November. Remember to be dressed in your full school uniform and to be at school on time. It will start at 9:15am. Your parents are invited to come and to enjoy our amazing item “Circle of Life”. I’ll see you all at school tomorrow, ready to celebrate your success!
Today I will be sending your reports home. It has been a pleasure to write every single one of them as you have worked so hard this year. I have seen you improve in all areas, your reading is fantastic, your writing is amazing, and your class participation is overwhelming!
Well done to you all and celebrate your success with your parents. If your parents need me to explain any section of the reports I’ll be happy to meet with them. Just arrange an appointment.
Market Day was amazing! The rain did not stop the fun and we joined in all the activities. Watch this short video of us. For more photos visit our photo page. Enjoy!
